Over the weekend, we were tickled pink to support fellow stylists of Salon Voila in its first ever Pink Strydes Affair, a fashion show and fundraiser for breast cancer awareness.
This inaugural event, held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center and mc-ed by comedienne and actress Coco Brown (Jennifer in Tyler Perry’s TBS sitcom For Better or Worse), celebrated local breast cancer survivors and featured fashions from Ashley Stewart, Pink Me Life, The House of Lirasaintt and M-2.
Karline’s is proud to say that a bit of hair competition is good, but when it comes to the health of our community, we’re in this fight together. We congratulate Vanessa Battle- Robinson (pictured right in the photo with Karline Ricketts) , Salon Voila’s owner and breast cancer survivor.

American Cancer Society's Look Good Feel Better
This program in West Palm Beach teaches women in active cancer treatment ways to deal with the appearance-related side effects of treatment. This program is offered jointly by the American Cancer Society, Personal Care Products Council Foundation and the National Cosmetology Association. Click here for the program schedule.
